GED Preparation and Testing Opportunities

GED preparation classes and testing are offered to students with a goal of earning a GED Certificate. ALL students wishing to enroll in GED Preparation classes will be required to provide Proof of Birth Date at time of registration. Proof of birth date can be in the form of a Driver’s License, State ID Card, Birth Certificate, or other government issued documentation showing your name and birth date. Students who are 16 - 19 years of age as of September 1 of the current school year will also need to provide a copy of their High School Transcripts. GED courses help students prepare for the test by reviewing math, social studies, language arts, reading, science, literature and the arts, and the essay. The GED practice tests will be given and students will gain confidence in test taking. Tutoring and other student assistance may be offered in connection with both the High School Completion Learning Lab and GED programs. GED testing is available monthly September through May.
