Mechanics: This class will focus on general automotive
maintenance. The course will include but not limited to shop
safety, changing
oil and other fluids, changing, balancing, and rotating tires,
maintaining brakes, tune-ups and engine maintenance and changing
belts. Students will learn how to use a repair manual and how
to retrieve diagnostic trouble codes. The student will use
current diagnostic tools, an acetylene torch and related hand
and power hand tools to learn these skills.
