Adult Career/Technical Daytime Programs 

General Daytime Information
To Register: Registration is located at the BAISD Career Center, 4155 Monitor Road, Bay City, MI. Registration for all daytime career/technical programs will be held on a first come first served basis starting Tuesday, September 4, 2007.

Cost: $ 400.00 per semester
Times: Classes are held during either first or second session.
8:00 a.m. - 10:40 a.m. - First Session
12:00 p.m. - 2:40 p.m. - Second Session

Business Information Processing - 2 yrs.: The Business Information Processing cluster is designed to provide students with an employable skill in one or more business/office occupations utilizing the latest technology. College articulation and school-to-work opportunities are available.

Engineering Drafting - 2 yrs.: Training is in standard practices followed by engineering drafting departments. Participants will develop basic technical drafting skills as well as the advanced techniques used in industry.

Heating, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration - 2 yrs.: This program is designed to prepare students for employment in the fields of heating, air conditioning and refrigeration. The course has been designed cooperatively with business and industry. Students will also receive practical experience on Computer Assisted Drafting (CAD) equipment.

Machine Trades - 2 yrs: Students will receive training in the set up and operation of common machine tools such as milling, turning, grinding and drilling machines. New high technology equipment such as (CNC) Computerized Numerical Control will be covered, as well as blueprint reading.

Small Engine Repair - 2 yrs.: This program is designed to prepare mechanics for the repair of motorcycles, lawn and garden equipment, chain saws, outboard motors and snowmobile repair and customer relations.
